Why can't we edit our subject titles now????????????????

OMG I noticed this over the weekend. I thought I was going crazy. It is soooooo annoying. Sometimes you want to update a post and change the title to tell people that you updated it.
PLEASE change it back to the old way!!!!!!!

I know!! I tried over and over to edit my deployment post this past weekend to ask that no one please post anymore (until I could get it removed) but i couldn't..I hope they change that feature back to how it was!!

Happened to me this morning. I was trying to add "update" to my title and it wouldn't let me. Thought there was something wrong with my computer.
Change it back please.

No, I think it's the initial thread title that can't be edited. Reply titles can be. Only the initial post title is displayed on the topic list.

well, that sucks! No one is around during the weekend when mayhem strikes! Suppose for example we NEED Kelly's weather updates or s* * * is hitting the fan over terminology & the only thing the poor OP wants to do is have the drama end . . .
