Tommee Tippee Bottles??
DH and I started registering and he is obsessed with the Tommee Tippee bottles... I do like them to, but I have to say, I don't know much about them...
I read they've only been out in the US for about a year and a half, but over 50 years in the UK...and they are most similar to breast for BF'ing...(although we are probably not doing that anyway)
can anyone share their experiences with these bottles if you've used/use them??
I'd appreciate it...
I have so many family memebrs telling us one type over another, and the next person says "DONT USE THAT USE THIS" and it is kind of annoying, so we just want to choose what WE want, not what everyone tells us...
and I take opinions from strangers better than family for some reason LOL
TIA!

Re: Tommee Tippee Bottles??
They were DS's first set of bottles. He liked them for a few weeks but later on they gave him such bad gas. Also they leaked a lot. I then switched to Born Free and then to Dr. Browns.

Re: Tommee Tippee Bottles??
these were the only bottles i received off of my registry other than the medela breastmilk ones. i used one bottle one time and i absolutely hated them. my DD has a healthy latch and the nipple collaped at least 5 times during the feeding. i never used them again. now i use playtex drop ins in hope of reducing gas, but so far i haven't seen a substantial improvement.

Re: Tommee Tippee Bottles??
We LOVED them! We did playtex drop-inns and my dd had horrible gas. We also struggled with bfing and after using the TT sensative tummy bottle she had less gas, AND latched My suggestion is to increase the nipple size much sooner as the nipple does collapse, but my dd never really cared. At about 4 months we switched to the MAM bottle and she loves them. Still gets 1 milk bottle before bed at 19 months

Re: Tommee Tippee Bottles??
Tomee Tippee has been a brand in the Uk for over 50 years, but the bottles were only released 5 years ago. They are the top selling bottles in the UK. Good luck.

Re: Tommee Tippee Bottles??
I LOVE THEM. the only time they leak is if the nipple isnt screwed on correctly.
My twins take both the tommee tippee and Born Free with no problems. I actually just recently started separating who gets what. Ali eats much slow and since they have a bit of a faster flow she gets the Tommee Tippee so that she doesn't get tired of sucking. Jojo only gets the Born Free because she has a lot more gas and eats way too fast so I need to slow down her flow. Both of the bottles still have a level 1 nipple but the flow is still different.
