Toddler sleep help needed
JJ who is just shy of 22 months use to be a great sleeper (7:30-7) plus was taking 2 naps. Now we are down to 1 nap a day but his night time sleeping is horrendeous. He goes to bed around 730-8 & wakes up anywhere from 4:45- 5:30.
As soon as he hears my DH get up for work & turn off the house alarm, he is up even if he was dead asleep. Is there something we can put in his room to drown out the hallway noises in hopes to get him to sleep later. With him getting up so early & only taking a 1 hr nap, he is a diseaster all day

I agree with trying to put him down earlier. When DS dropped his afternoon nap, I ended up having to move his bedtime up from 8pm to 7pm. He will now sleep 7-6:30am. If he goes down 8pm or later, he wakes up anywhere between 5:30-6am. Try playing with his bedtime and see if it makes a difference.
As for the noise, have you tried a white noise machine? I use an old radio and just put it on a station that's all static.

Re: Toddler sleep help needed
Do you have a sound machine? That helps with DS tremendously especially when his windows are open at night. The only thing it doesn’t do is drown out the darn birds in the morning. He will wake up at 5:30-5:45 and sit and talk in the crib for about a half an hour!! I know it’s not a matter of pushing up his sleep time because on most days he does wake up between 6:15-7, his normal wake up time.

Re: Toddler sleep help needed
do you leave the sound machine on all night? We have a humidifer in his room but do not use it unless necessary. I will try it out tonight & see if it works. Moving up his bedtime I don`t think would work bc he will refuse it.
