I just can't figure out how to do it and no one at AT&T is being very forthcoming.
By the way, the 20% discount for AT&T is for all NYC employees.
Look into it!!

Pretty sure Verizon offers it too...
I know they do for the FDNY, we had to fill out a form, and it took a few months, but we got it

it's 19% as far as i know.
call your union--they may be able to give you the form
i have it with verizon

check their website - that's how I did it with Verizon. I work for State Farm and get 22%. I had to verify a code through my @statefarm.com email addy.

Get the UFT website...and do a search for member benefits - its there somewhere.
But I guess that's only if you work for the city.

I'm pretty sure it was me. I think all I had to do was put my DOE email address in here click me! and then it prompted me with what I had to do.
You can't use a regular email address, it must be your DOE email address. Hope this helps!

I JUST bought an ATT phone the other day.
The guy asked me, in the store, if I was member of a union...and he could look up on HIS "list" the names of comapnies that ATT extendend discounts to.
Call ATT cust service. All they would havw to do is get a pay stub from you.

i did when i was with A T & T. My DH is a NYC teacher and we use Sprint under his name, but i would imagine they would do it for all teachers.

I have it, and I'm a Long Island teacher. I think I had to show them a paystub or maybe my insurance card, we don't have ID cards in my district.

DH did it by getting the pension fund number from the payroll secretary in his school.
Once you call AT&T with that number they reflect the discount on your next bill.

If you attend a SUNY school you get discounts too on AT&T.
