To Drink or Not to Drink...with Poll
So I need everyone's opinions...
AF is due around 10/5 and we have a wedding on 10/3.
I promised myself that I wouldn't test early this time so I won't be testing before the wedding.
I want to have a good time and since it's in NJ we are staying overnight.
Do you think I should worry about having a drink or 2 at the wedding?
What would you do?

the alcohol cannot and will not affect the embryo even if you are pregnant. the placenta needs to be working in order for that to happen - and that does not happen until about 6 weeks.

id say have a drink or two. My family is from Italy- and they have a glass of red wine throughout the pregnancy (NOT saying to do this, I will be scared myself to because I don't have their mentality being from the states)
however all our family came out fine...They're all doctors and nurses lol So i dont hink a few drinks will hurt!

I would drink and enjoy the wedding!! I think we have all unnecessarily altered our lives for this process and you deserve to have fun!! Hopefully a few days later you'll get that BFP!!

If you want to have a drink or two, you should. I don't believe you share blood with the embryo until week 6 or so. JMO.

Have a drink (or 2  ) Mr doctor told me I can drink and use drugs up until my BFP  So, until you get the word, just enjoy!
(I have a wedding on October 3 too!! )

I'm in the same boat as you. DH and I have a wedding tomorrow night and AF is not due until Wed of next week. I'm going to indulge in an adult beverage or two but not go crazy

thank you SO much for this girls...forwarding this to DH as I FINALLY got the 2 lines on OPK 2 days in a row (on cd53...yes cd53 I have vicious long cycles) and I have a bachelorette party this weekend and hubby says "you know you can't drink" and I wanted to punch him - LOL!
