*Thurs QOTD*
DH and I were talking about our labor and birth of DS and he was asking if there was anything different I want to do with#2
So do any of you ladies have a birth plan or an idea of what you want your labor and birth to be like? For those that already have a DC is there anything different you want the next time around?
For me I was in labor for 32 hours with DS all natural no drugs the whole time with the help of my midwife it wasn't to bad. I would love to go the no drug route again I would love to do a water birth but the nearest hospital that does that is in Nassau. Oh and I really would love my labor to be shorter lol

As of right now, we plan on having No Medication and we are not finding out the gender. There are few things in this world that surprise you, so why not have the biggest surprise of all be this. I would also like a quick labor

Re: *Thurs QOTD*
I wanted to try and labor on my own without an EPI. As we know, you have no control over it in the end, I wound up with a failed induction and a C section. In the end all that matters is that DC is healthy. Ideally I would go for a VBAC but I'm not sure if my OB will let me, I need to discuss it with him, as I am not clear on the reasons that I was not progressing (if it was due to the fact that DS was sunny side up, or that my hips were just too narrow and he couldn't drop any further). If I could do it over again I probably would have gone with a midwife and waited longer to be induced.

I wouldn't mind the same exact way it went with DD...I was so scared for labor but hers was perfect.

Re: *Thurs QOTD*
I plan on seeing my chiro regularly if i get a BFP - the adjustments can help make the body more condusive to labor and possible make it easier - anything to help make it quicker and less painful

I went in 2.5 hours for my FIRST..it was crazy..so needless to say I'm nervous about how quickly the next one will go...I loved the way my labor went I did get an epi and it was perfect..I told DH that if all my labors were like this I'd probably have 10 kids
