I don't see the big deal. Baby North is probably more at ease with the nanny than her parents. And it wasn't only the nanny, there was Kanye's aunt and a nurse just in case anything could happen. A lot of let our kids fly with our parents so I really don't see the big deal.

Agreed. She was with her aunt.
I couldn't do it, but I don't judge them for trusting family to be with her.

This baby is going to be raised by staff not family so I am not surprised at all.
It is not something most woman would do but then again most woman raise their own children and don't have them raised by hired help.

I see nothing wrong. Their lives are completely different from our. And I'm sure she was taken care of better with the nanny than with Kim. I'd trust the hired help more than a man who calls himself YEEZUS

This, I wouldnt feel comfortable with it even now but she probably sees the support staff at least as often as her parents and I am sure she was well taken care of and its not like she was going through a stressful experience with someone she barely knows. So, I dont think its that big of a deal. But I do kind of think its ****** that they treat her like an accessory. Then again, if it was a celeb I liked better I might not mind as much

I would let my mom do it, she's over a year old now. The nanny probably knows her better than her own grandmother.
I don't get the fuss.
I tend to agree. I would not like the idea because airplanes creep me out but I would do it if need be. I just dont really see the big deal.

I don't think it's a big deal. She had her great aunt with her, plus a nanny, security guard, etc. It's a different lifestyle.
I can't stand this family- but this is one thing I don't think is a big deal at all.

That's more supervision than me flying alone with 2 little ones!! It's not like the baby will be unsafe! That's the kind of world and lifestyle this kid was born into.
I agree with this. I can't stand this family in general, but in this case, I can't really find anything to bash them for. Would I do it? Absolutely not, but I live in a very different world.

I live a different life than them; so No I wouldn't' put my 1 year old on a plane while I go off to France or wherever she went. DS would come with me. As others have posted; I'm sure the Nanny does more for her anyway; so she's was probably very well taken care of and in good hands. I don't know the circumstances why North didn't go with Kim. It seems selfish; but who knows why she did it.

With all those people I'm sure she was well taken care of BUT for myself, I couldn't imagine my kids flying without DH or I. I would feel weird about that...........but then I'm not rich and famous. I'm sure this is normal in "their world".

I guess for me it's not the fact that she flew with an entourage, it's the principle of why it was done. The fact her mother and father couldn't take time out of their "busy" schedules to be with their daughter on a plane.
I'm mean c'mon, those two assholes could afford to take a day off from showing tits and ass or walking around the streets looking miserable.

Celebs AND the uber-wealthy right here on LI and NYC. Although it doesn't mean they all do it. I'm not sure if the Brangelina kids have flown alone. And don't think Duchess Kate is that kind of mom.

Totally, her safety was never an issue- if they had to go off and save lives in a war zone and sent her home alone, that's one thing. But whoever said the baby is an accessory to them was totally right.

ITA with you, as I mentioned earlier, her parents are azzholes through and through. There's no doubt about that This kid, unfortunately, is at the very bottom of their list of priorities and is mostly just a show piece. But, the kid is likely more comfortable with her crew than with her parents. I doubt mom and dad are losing beauty sleep tending to her cries when she wakes up at night. The nanny has always been mommy to her. So, to the baby, it *was* like she was traveling with mom, simply because she sees these people so much she probably thinks of them as her family and caretakers. On the rare occasion she sees Kim and Kanye she's probably like who are these asshats? She never looks too pleased to be around them in pics lol. Also, it was probably more comfortable a flight with these people than it would have been with Kim and Kanye ignoring her and having the hired help tend to her anyway only to pick her up for show when the paparazzi were in sight acting like mother of the year.

ITA! They are so well established as "celebrities" that they can rain check a meeting or event they had in the books. Or HEY! here's a thought! Have both of your assistants get together and make sure that one of you is able to be with your daughter when the other one isn't.
I said it earlier and I'll say it again, this kid is nothing more to them than a accessory, a photo op. Just sad.

I don't know.. she was with Kanye's aunt. Who I am assuming is more like a grandma being that his mom passed away. I don't love them but, they have a very different lifestyle. If the aunt wasn't there I would have more of an issue with it.
