Those with very minimal symptoms..

How do you NOT drive yourself crazy?

I am almost 11 weeks and morning sickness is a rare occurrence...breasts hurt much less (except for at night), but I am still tired. My pants are getting tight but no need for maternity pants yet.

I can't help but worry Chat Icon I have an appointment on Tuesday. We've seen the baby / heard the heartbeat (nice & strong) but there are days where I can go a long stretch and forget I'm pregnant....maybe when I start getting a real belly it will be better...

eta: I still do have little twinges, feels like pulls here and there..I'm assuming it's growing pains.

How do I stop worrying so much!!?

Re: Those with very minimal symptoms..

I had absolutely no symptoms at all aside from my pants feeling a little snug. I mean none - no m/s, etc. All I can say is that it gets easier as time goes on. I would think "well, another day and no bad symptoms - things must be fine." And look forward to those doctor appointments! Also, by week 14 I ordered a stork radio to hear the heartbeat when I needed to.

Hang in there!

Re: Those with very minimal symptoms..

First time around I felt the same way, my clothes were just getting snug & my breasts were tender, but that was it. I kept worrying something was wrong. It helped when I had my ultrascreen & then soon after (around 15-16 wks-which is early), I started feeling the baby move, once that happened, it helped me feel more prego & stop worrying as much.

Hang in there, in a few more weeks you'll have your big ole belly Chat Icon

I had very little of the typical PG symptoms but I was very very tired during the first trimester. Be thankful and try not to worry. I am sure your little one is just fine.

Re: Those with very minimal symptoms..

not fun is it? I'm not mocking you - i promise...but i never had a bout of m/s. I had insomnia and massive congestion, both of which could be chalked up to normal problems (i have recurring sinus infections and used to rely on sleeping pills for sleep sometimes)...

i complained a LOT....because i felt that any symptom would make me feel more pregnant...so i more than understand... the doctor's visits kept me going....my friends kept me going - telling me how lucky i was.... and the FINAL thing that made me feel better was when we FINALLY came out to my parents...asking my mom how her pregnancys were (with me and my bro). Apparently, how your mom's went weighs on your outcome....well, both she and my dad were like, 'the pregnancies were wonderful, no problems at ALL'. She said she got sick once but she thinks it was because she ate too much the night before...and it was VERY early that she did.... That made me feel LEAPS & BOUNDS better...seriously....

you will get through it. I still don't have many symptoms...congestion (hellish) is still here, but now i'm tired ALL the time and have occasional cramping....and my belly is starting to feel 'heavy' if that makes any sense...

if you need someone to talk to - please, FM me....you are NOT ALONE!!!!

Re: Those with very minimal symptoms..

I have also had VERY minimal symptoms this entire pregnancy. I think these things kept me somewhat Chat Icon sane.

I absolutely love my doctor and I knew if anything wasn't right, he'd know. I know not always the case, but it still put me at ease.

I also know that a lot of it is out of my control. I have tried to just be happy about feeling so good.

I also have found out from here that everyone experiences things differently. It doesn't mean that something has to be wrong.

I'm in the same boat. My first pregnancy, I was sick morning to night. i had every symptom under the sun.

This pregnancy - nothing really. I'm SO tired, my boobs kind of hurt, and that's it!!!! I'm sure everything is fine - but it's natural to worry!

Re: Those with very minimal symptoms..

I'm 15 weeks and have been great so far. My last pregnancy I was sick for 18 weeks so I'm just very thankful I feel good. One thing is I've developed is this weird skin rash and not that I feel it but it's annoying and ugly. I guess everyone has alittle something.

Re: Those with very minimal symptoms..

Don't ask me lol I worry EVER second of the day! I'm 11 weeks also and I have my ultrascreen tomorrow and I'm so excited to see the baby! I won't be seen after that for four weeks I'm going to go crazy! I'm thinking on buying a doppler to hopefully hear the heartbeat to hopefully ease my mind. I hate having to worry all the time. When does it stop!?

ETA::: wow preggo brain totally read this post wrong lol to answer the question everything is starting to were away. My boobs are still a little sore and now I have horrible headachs. If it wasn't for the boobs I would forget I'm PG.

Re: Those with very minimal symptoms..

No m/s here either, and very few symptoms... just boobs hurt. Every now and again I kind of squish my boobs just to make sure they still really hurt.... if that makes any sense.

I am thankful for feeling great - but like you mentioned - I sometimes "forget" that we are pg....

counting down to our next dr visit to confirm that all is AOK....

hang in there - you are not alone...

I hope that we are not making some of the others who are dealling with a ton of pg symtoms jealous...

I know exactly what you mean with the squishing! Chat Icon

Although last night I did get a bad headache, I drink tons of water all day and that did nothing to help. And I posted about what I *think* was round ligament pain. So I guess everyone is really different!

Thank you ladies Chat Icon
