Those who use at home dopplers.

How many times a day or week do you listen to the baby's heartbeat? Sometimes I do a couple of days in a row sometimes I go a week...I ask because I just read online that its not good to do it everyday..

I do it once every 2 wks or so but that's because now i feel baby move a lot more. Before, I was maybe using it once every few days but that only lasted 2 wks.

From about 10wks until 14 or 15 I did it almost every day for a few seconds. I never heard it was bad. Once I could feel him it was only on a day I had not felt him yet. At 20wks I sent it back since he was moving at least a few times a day.

same as previous posters, i used it a lot early on before he was moving around and haven't used it much since about 20 weeks unless he has a quiet day

i used it every night until around 20w and then once i could feel the baby consistently i pretty much never used it again. ive never heard of it being bad to use everyday, i think thats ridiculous since doctors will do dopplers or sonos very often, even every week, for high risk pregnancies. also, if it were true they wouldnt be able to sell them without warning or at all.

I used it every 2-3 days from about 10 weeks until about 16 weeks. As I got further along I used it a little less often maybe twice a week or if I got nervous. My husband and I would listen just for a few seconds. I started feeling the baby by then so I stopped using it. It got me through a few rough weeks though!

As far as it being dangerous, who knows, honestly everything is "dangerous" these days so I try not to worry too much. All I know is the doctors use dopplers/sonograms all the time so they can't be that bad.
