Those of you with central A/C--what is your DC wearing to bed?
My DH says I'm OBSESSED--I am always worried that DD is going to be cold in the middle of the night.
We keep the ceiling fan on right over her crib, and keep the air at 73 at night, which usually translates to around 70 in her room.
I've been dressing her in light cotton footie pajamas and her fleece sleepsack. Do you think that's too much?
I just know that if I woke up cold in the middle of the night and wasn't able to put blankets on myself, I'd be bumming. But DH thinks I'm dressing her too warm.
What are your DC wearing, and what is the temp in their room usually?

70 is hot in this house
DS doesn't even have AC, but when we are away at my parents or in Florida for vaca, he wears the short sleeved top/long pants and then he has a blanket, his blankie

I have a pair of short-sleeved pajamas for her...but I'm afraid to put them on her! I guess it's coming from someone who always HAS to sleep with my arms covered.

Jess, is she wearing a sleepsack/using a blanket as well? DH is making me all self-conscious that I'm overheating her

DS is in short sleeved jammies tonight, with a cotton sleep sack over. The ceiling fan in his room is on mid speed and the AC is set to 74 which is really like 70ish in his room. I was concerned about not having sleeves on him, but he tends to run hot.

Ds is sleeping in light weight, long sleeve feetie pjs. No blanket or sleep sack. Our house at night is usually around 70-72 and his fan is on low.

i like the house at 68 or lower.. we put DD (who is 9.5 months old) in light weight PJs and she already sleeps with a pillow and blanket so there is no need for a sleep sack.
last year when she was just born (in July, she was always in a fleece swaddle and onsie

For those of you that use blankets...how do you make sure that they are keeping them on at night?
I have NO qualms about using a blanket in DD's crib--she already uses a pillow--but I use the SleepSack simply because I don't have to worry about her throwing the blankets off and getting cold in the middle of the night!
I know, I'm a little obsessive about it!

Honestly I feel she would be waking if she was hot and she's not so she's probably fine. My kids wear the 2 piece tight fitting pants with long sleeved shirt-no blanket or sleep sack.

DS sleeps with two blankets (down from 3 just two days ago) and wheres a short sleeve onesie and a longsleeve two piece pj. I always check on him before I go to be to make sure the blanket is on. He is usually good about keeping it on.

Re: Those of you with central A/C--what is your DC wearing to bed?
DS is a warm boy but at night with the CAC running, we have him in either cotton footie PJ's or cotton long sleeve & pants with no socks. I do not use the sleepsack anymore bc I think it is overkill. We have the CAC at 72 & his ceiling fan on

my DD doesnt really move around a lot.. weird i know but if she does she usually grabs for it and before DH goes to bed he checks on her, and i usually get up at least one more time throughout the night so i check on her, and i feel if she did get cold she would cry (sorry for the run on sentence.)
