This whole process

Is SUCH an emotional rollercoaster. For the last 4 days I was a nervous wreck, WAITING for a signal to show that I was ovulating. Am I ovulating and I just don't know it? Am I using the tests wrong? Am I even ovulating? Oh god, what if I'm not even ovulating?

Now that it's confirmed, I DO ovulate, and I AM ovulating in the next day or so, my mood has lifted. I'm in a great mood, filled with excitement, anticipation, hope and promise of what could be.

Then stress. Did I time it right? Should I have BD'd everyday instead of once a day? Do I feel symptoms? Are my boobs sore? Am I tired? Is this my imagination? Could I be pregnant?

And then, TBAF. All hope, all promise, crashes in one fell swoop Chat Icon

I wonder if it will be any easier for women 30, 40, 50 years from now? Think they'll invent some kind of home x-ray so you can see the exact moment your egg is released? Chat Icon

Re: This whole process

I only have 2 weeks of experience in this field. The last two weeks were terrible. Between the questioning and the 5 or 6 BFN's we got. Convinced it didn't work. Thinking that AF would be showing up at any moment. Trying to let DH down gently saying that "it might not have happened so easily". then *Zoom, Bam, Bang, Woosh* to a BFP in one fell swoop. I am afraid of any dips to come!!

Now that I am PG, I'm terrified of miscarrying.. I guess it's one rollercoster after another..

Regardless. Here's praying for a successful fertilization!!!Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: This whole process

tell me about it! I have been on an extreme roller coaster ride especially since I am now 6 days late & had 3 BFN's! Finally I needed some advice & I contacted my Dr. She made me laugh bc she said our generation is so POAS happy & will start testing the day after they BD! Chat Icon Chat Icon

I am trying to stay level headed in this but it is so difficult. Then I have my DH telling me to just relax. It is hard to not think about symptoms & all.

I hope we all get the answer we are looking for.....BFP very soon

I feel the same way. I finally gave up this month and stopped testing. Either I didn't ovulate or the tests just missed it but is was very emotional to just let go and say this month isn't going to be it.

I don't like OPK's - they aren't as reliable for me because I drink a lot of water during the day, which dilutes the test - I like the CBEFM better because it requires FMU - for me, that's more reliable.

Hey, they always say you get preggo when you "give up", so maybe this month WILL be your month!
