Think I'm having a breakdown
I had a very emotional weekend and everything that could go wrong went wrong yesterday morning so I stayed home from work. I came in today and my boss was in a foul mood and didnt have one nice thing to say...I think he was ticked off that I took a personal day. Anyhow...because of his lax behaviour over the past months, things are seriously behind, now all of a sudden its my fault that $hit is not getting done and he totally went off on me via email and on the phone. I cant stop crying. I have been informed that I am not allowed to go home tomorrow until everything that needs to be done gets done...so now I have had to cancell my dinner plans that I had for "girls night out." I really hope AF is on her way because I cant imagine what else is causing me not to be able to pull it together. I'm sitting her sobbing and I cannot stop. I think I need a tranquilizer or something. All I can think out is how am I supposed to get all of this done when I cant even pull myself together and stop crying. Oh heck I dont even think this is IF related...I just need a hug I guess

I have noticed that since I started dealing with IF, it's harder to deal with other things that get piled on top of it. It's kind of like we only have so much coping abilities and I think that IF drains a lot of that out of us. Therapy might help you if you are feeling overwhelmed. Good luck!

ITA. dealing with infertility tends to magnifiy everything else. screw your boss, who needs him

No one deserves to be treated so meanly by their boss. Can he really instruct you that you cannot leave tomorrow? Does he plan on staying and working too?
Might be a great weekend for a job search to begin!! HUGS

Its funny how his email yesterday implied that "we" could not leave until it was done, however upon clarification today it is I that cannot leave, HE is leaving today today at 3pm (just because). I actually started doing the math and could squeak by on $405 a week unemployment....I just may be at the end of my rope here

Don't make any decisions until you've thought them thru. Take some time this weekend for yourself!!!! Figure out what you'd like to do and talk to DH. It sounds like your boss is a real jerk!!! I had one of those and left my job because of it--- but I had started my 'side' business a few years before and now do it full time... so it all worked out (except the medical insurance part!!!- but now we have coverage again and are managing).

What a jerk! I wouldn't tolerate working for someone like that.
