Things to do with a 14 month old?
I have a week and a half vacation from work, but we aren't going anywhere (DH has to work). I'd love to be able to take my DS to some fun places during this time. So far I'm thinking of the Riverhead Aquarium, Junior Jet Club, and LICM. Not interested in Le Play Cafe (had a bad experience there). Any other suggestions?

Check out the macaroni kid website. They always have events for the week listed. A lot of them are even free

Things to do with a 14 month old?
I've been meaning to try Once Upon a Treetop. We went to LICM with my 15 month old and I felt like she was too young for it. She wasn't walking though. If she was, maybe she would have enjoyed the toddler area, but she didn't even want to be put down.

I'll third Once Upon a Treetop. Also, your local library and story time at Barnes & Noble. LICM is okay if your DC is walking.

I would skip LICM. We took ds when he was closer to 20 months and I thought he was a tad too young.
