things to do in Rome
Dh & I are going to Rome in September for 6 days as part of an award my Dh got through work. We picked some days of leisure to go about Rome on our own. What do.you recommend?
We are already doing a tour of the Colisuem & a private your of the Vatican.

I thought the catacombs were very cool. Also Villa Borghese, Piazza Navona, and the three other basilicas in Rome: Mary Maggiore, St Paul Outside the Walls and St John Lateran (especially interesting since they have the holy steps reputed to have been ascended by Jesus before his trial).
