some moron at work just asked me...
"is your sister better now? Is she ok with what happened? Has she made peace with it"
I stood there like a deer in headlights for what seemed liked an eternity...actually about 7 or 8 seconds...and responded "NO"
*** are you kidding me? She just lost her son...of course she's not ok, dumba$$

I am!! I think that overall (and I don't want to make it sound like I've been intentionally overhearing your biz) that everyone has been trying to respect your privacy and be conscientious of what you've been through over here. It's typical NT style to come in and mix it up emotionally when someone is going through something. Unfortunately not enough people put IT in it's places. She's crossed a few lines of mine back in the day (until I told IT's a$$ off). I intensely disliked IT before this issue, now I flat out HATE IT

My grandfather passed away 28 years ago and my mother still mourns him like it was recent, and that at least is the natural order of things. I don't think people ever heal from the loss of a child, certainly not within -- what, a week?  What a beast.
