Thank you! This means so much. To be honest...I was very depressed based on my weekend eating habits & lack of exercise. So depressed that I didn't want to do anything tonight. By the time DH gets home for me to workout it's after 8pm. Thankfully I saw this & it got my butt up off the couch & dressed to run. I feel a million times better. I really appreciate this!Chat Icon

Week Four Check-In Template:

Body - still hate it
Endurance - Def. getting better slowly, can get though workout tapes without stopping
Diet Progress - Doing okay, not too many slip ups, really just trying to eat better along WW guidlines without it being too much of a DIET. down 2.4 lbs this week, even with some yummies on Suday BBQ
Workout Progress - walking with family just about every evening 2-3 miles and doing 2-3 30 minute workouts in the AM per week.

slowly but surely I guess.....

Ok here's my info:

Diet Plan: Being going to weight watchers since October and so far I've lost 55 pounds! I just rejoined yesterday.

Exercise Plan: Workout 5-6 times a week. Meet with personal trainer 2 times a week. Walking, gym and 30 day shred dvd rest of the week

Goals: I would like to lose another 35-40 pounds. I would like to get into a size 6-8 jeans. My exercise goal is to increase my endurance, get up to 4 miles on elliptical and eventually I'd like to run a 5K.

I think that's everything, right?

Week Four Check-In:

Body - no change - gained back .6 lbs but ik why
Endurance - no change
Diet Progress - Going good I think - I am doing much better with my portion control
Workout Progress - I did absolutely nothing again tast week or this week. I have been so tired and stressed out.

I am feeling good about tomorrow's weigh in though. I just hope I don't sabatoge myself today. We have our company picnic today. I think I will be ok though because I don't plan on staying too long. My boss and her boss both can't attend so I can skip out whenever I am ready.

I am also feeling optimistic about next week. I won't be able to exercise much but we are moving back into my parents house (to save money to buy our own house) So my workouts will be packing, moving/lifting boxes and cleaning. Also I think I'll be so busy, I'll probably having to remind myself TO instead of reminding myself NOT TO eatChat Icon!

I another good thing about moving back to my parents house is that they have a small home gym. So I will be able to workout a little more and have more variety.

Once we are settled in a little bit, I am going start my training schedule for the Diva Half Marathon and start going to the kickboxing classes.

Week Four Check-In

Body - I feel like my belly is getting a little bit flatter and my calf muscles are awesome, so I guess that's SOME improvement. I only lost .7 at yesterdays weigh-in though, for a total of 3.5 pounds. Sigh.

Endurance - I actually haven't gone to the gym because life has been getting in the way, BUT I have been walking with DD every morning. I bought a pedometer but it's crap so I use mapmyrun.com when I get back and today I walked 3.07 miles and only starting getting tired at the end!

Workout Progress - I am going to start the gym up again this weekend, continue walking everyday and alternate crunches and arm workouts everyday, too.

Diet Progress: Okay. Last week I sucked because we had something to do practically everyday. I couldn't wait for the week to be over to get back on track.

week 5 check in:

Your Body: about the same as last week. Clothes are loser on me. Not 1 size down just yet though.

Endurance: Feel lighter. It's not that much weight but it is noticeable when I do activities.

Diet Progress: -3.2Lbs this week. I am sticking to the points. For a total of -10.6Lbs. First mini goal of 10 Lbs achieved.

Exercise Progress: NADA again. Except for work but I had no show clients so I worked even less. MUST do gardening this week.

Week 5:

Body: About the same as last week but I can definitely feel myself toning a bit

Endurance: Pretty good

Diet Progress: Nothing this week Chat Icon I stuck to points and didn't lose an ounce. Very discouraged.

Workout Progress: I did some hard workouts this week - 4 days of alternating kickboxing and spinning and a regular session at the gym yesterday. Each class was at least 45 mins and left me sweating, sore and with my heart rate jacked up. So I know I'm working hard. Maybe my lack of weight loss this week was a muscle tone issue? I don't know. I'm frustrated Chat Icon 4 lbs away from my short-term goal and 8 lbs away from my ideal weight. ARRGGHHH.

Body - I dont know what the deal is but it looks EXACTLY the same to me. I must be losing weight in areas Im not concerned about instead of from my stomach which is my trouble area Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Endurance - Definite change this week. I finished week 4 of C25K and despite almost passing out on the first day and not being able to finish the last run, the 3rd day was a BREEZE

Diet Progress - down 3 this week! Total lost is 11lbs! 12 more to go!

Workout Progress - I have so many new things Im trying, Im still trying to get into a groove and figure out a schedule. Last week I did 3 days of the c25K, one day of kickboxing, 2 days of my ab dvd. I start yoga one day a week on the 12th. So I need to figure out how to do yoga, 2 days of kickboxing and 3 days of c25K, all well working and taking care of the little guy.

I just have guilt about leaving him at night since I work FT - KWIM? How do you working moms find the time, or if you do, how do you do it without the guilt?

Today is also 5 week not smoking!!!

Melissa great job with the smoking and the workouts!!! Chat Icon wow!! you are doing alot!!! as for the working mom thing.. DS takes a nap after daycare so I get the run in then..so no guilt..except for when I can't get dinner on the table but that's on me!!Chat Icon But that's the only time I workout.

Body - I feel like my waist is thinner & my thighs have gone down a little (at least that is what my jeans feel like)

Endurance - Definite change this past week. I am finishing up week 4 today, I was going to do it last night but honestly I just couldn't.

Diet Progress - down 4lbs total- not ideal but I started WW this past week, so that is helping.

Workout Progress - I don't have a lot of time. So I'm sticking with C25K & Excercise TV. I'm not very good at working out on the weekends, I need to get better at this. Although I did heavy gardening on Saturday (9am-3pm) and I counted that as MAJOR activity!!

Oops! I played the wrong day podcast on my ipod when I was out running today and started week 5 on day 2 instead of one. I was like *** is this......they arent kidding when they start week 5. Only to realize later that I played the wrong podcast. Oh well.....at least I did it!

I haven't been weighing myself cuz, hell, it's too depressing. I'm basically focusing on being active regularly. And since last Wednesday, I've worked out every day except Sunday!Chat Icon I did 30ds two nights in a row, then did Stroller Strides Saturday, off Sunday, stroller strides again today and I can't even tell you how working out does WONDERS for my self esteem. Though I'm not back to the size I want to be...I feel like 'me' again. I've been on this crazy high now that I'm back on the workout wagon. I forgot that awesome high I used to get!! Even if it takes a while to see results, I'm just happy that I've started!!Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Body - Feeling pretty huge and good old AF is here this week!

Endurance - Just started C25K on Friday, and even though I only did 2 days so far, it was a little easier yesterday than it was the first day. Chat Icon

Diet Progress - I started WW online this past Friday. I was doing it three months ago and had lost 12.8 lbs in 6 weeks but gained 10.2 back. Chat Icon So, as of Friday, I am down 2.6 total from my original start date.

Workout Progress - C25K Week 1: I don't have a lot of time so right now, C25K is all I can squeeze into my schedule. Since W1D1 was such a shock to my system, and because I started on a Friday, I am going to do an extra day of Week 1 this week and have Sunday be my W2D1. I'm feeling good that I am FINALLY doing this!! Come to think of it, I did take all of the kids to Rita's for an ice on Sunday and we walked there... so I did a little extra walking too! Chat Icon

checking in again - i was away from the computer for a couple days!

i continued my daily physical activity... did less than great on the diet this week though Chat Icon

a family party always throws me for a loop!

didn't weigh yet, but my BM dress for my sister's wedding is looser than it was 2 weeks ago. That's a good sign, right!
