The nurse called and DD hit her head at school
so I just had to go pick her up. she looks fine and she didnt want to come home but I guess they felt she should be watched closely
she is mad that I came and got her
I feel this new nurse calls way too much
if DD has a headache I get a phone call if she gets a band aid I get a call
ibut she knows dh and his brother so I dont know if its her or a courtesy call
whatever DD is home now and doing ok

 our school nurse never sends kids home!
I would send them to the nurses office with a note "just vomitted,,,send home"...and she would still send them back to class

Is this daycare or school?
Our daycare used to be like that too. I spoke to the director & explained that I didn't need a phone call unless there was a lot of blood or an ambulance involved. Anything else can wait until he's picked up.
Hope she's ok.

its elementary school
this nurse just likes to call for every little thing
I always say send her back to class....she doesnt need me to take her home for a papercut
