The "I can't" thread...
Okay, so typically I'm a VERY positive and upbeat person, but after my saga today, I decided we're in definite need of an "I can't" thread.
Now I'm not sure how common this is for someone at 38 weeks, and I don't even know if anyone out there would admit this, but I can't WIPE MY ASSS without a struggle. There. I said it.
I was late for my hair appointment this morning because it took me almost TWENTY minutes to maneuvar and find ways to successfully wipe my asss. Obviously, the job gets done, but for some reason, and I didn't realize this, my ARMS must be too short or something. Either that, or my belly is growing at rates one cannot imagine. Either way, every time I have to take a poop now, I have MAJOR anxiety (used to be a fine pasttime for me) because each day asswiping is getting harder and harder to do...
Now that I overshared, and people will respond with "I can'ts" such as: I can't put my socks on or I can't eat ___, I feel liberated that this is out there...
What are your "I can'ts" for pregnancy, and I don't mean the little ones... the TMI ones now that I've embarassed myself 
Did I forget mention that this would be a TMI post?

I can't wipe my *** either!!! I'm 34 weeks!!! I think my arms shrunk!!!
I also can barely roll out of bed...... I can't find a position that is comfortable to BD in  and I can't tie my shoes anymore!!!

seriously though! Isn't that the worst? I think back to this morning and LAUGH now because I was saying some nonsense like, "my mother didn't tell me about this! I've never read ANYONE telling about this on LIF, ***!!!" and each time I was getting more frustrated, it took me longer and longer to get the job done.
So, this thread serves as a PSA to allllllllllllllllllllllll you first time preggos out there... IT WILL BECOME NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE TO WIPE YOUR ASSS BY THE TIME YOU HIT YOUR THIRD TRIMESTER!!! There, I said it. I wish someone else did for me!

get out of freakin bed anymore without a struggle  It being a waterbed makes it even harder
wipe my @ss without a fight! That enlarged skintag that I was talking about yesterday, which is blocking my @sshole isn't helping the cause

I can't shave my area without holding up or pushing in my stomach...used to be a little easier.
I can't zip up my regular pants anymore... i have to walk around my house wearing jeans but they are unbuttoned and unzipped.....i think it might be time for maternity pants...

OMG as terrible as I feel about your struggles to wipe your own tushy, I can't help but LOL at what you're writing. I don't know, something about the way you worded everything was absolutely hysterical!!
The first thing I said out loud after reading about your struggles is, "no one ever warned me about that!" So thank you so much for this wonderful PSA! I have just informed DH that he better be ready to wipe my a** for me in a few months.

What??? Regular pants??? W.T.F. are those???? Girl, I started wearing maternity pants the minute I poas. After taking those suppositories (for god knows what because I can't remember now - baby brain), it swelled me all up and I couldn't fit into shiit.

It's so true though... My poor dh at one point - because mind you, I'm doing all this with the bathroom door opened - is mumbling under his breath, "oh god..." because he doesn't know what to do to help me. All of a sudden he says in a hesitant, almost scared voice, "you don't want me to help you, right?" I was like "no! am I 90?" hehehehehheehhe poor thing!

I can't have sex, Im sure I COULD, but hell I can't be bothered.

I can't rolld over in bed or sit up or get up without farting anymore.....
Apparently I've let some monster ones rip in my sleep and have woken DH up
I feel like a walking whoopie cushion these days!

omg, I'm LMAO!!! You guys crack me up!! "can't roll over without farting" the sex one I can relate to as well!!! Again, poor dh!!! He's like, "you wanna?" and I just look at him now with a blank stare.

ya see, I didn't go through the farting and burping thing as much as others. I felt fairly lucky about that and then THIS comes along. I have to go again right now, and I have to be some place at 7 - if I get off LIF now, I might have time to craap, wipe my asss and make it there by 7. Meanwhile, it's only 5 minutes away...
oh, my DILEMMA!!!

Seriously I was talking to my grandmother in Spain about my wiping problems and she said why don't you use teh bidet??? Ummm we don't all have them here in teh US.....they are standard in every bathroom in SPain!!
I bet though PG women have much happier hineys!

Yes... this is when I regret not giving into DH's want for the Bidet when we redid the bathroom!
I can't wipe my azz either...
can't shave my legs, and when I do it's like a friggin Olympic sport
rolling over or getting out of bed... I forgot what it's like to do it without a struggle. I'm late for work every day because I can't get my azz out of the bed.
Getting dressed... Hmph..I need to sit on the toilet to put my underware on, my pants on. I've given up on shoes that need to be zipped or tied, only slip ons for me from now on.

It's just one of the many pregnancy perks!!!! hahahahaha. I can't tie my shoes, put on my socks, shave, too many " I can'ts to list, I'd be here for an eternity!!!! I keep telling myself, It's almost over and it will all be worth it!! Hang in there!!!

I can't laugh or sneeze w/o peeing in my pants! I also can't have decent sex, shave w/o cutting myself, or go to the bathroom w/o peeing on my pants, the seat, the floor, etc.
