The emotional toll of TTC
I just want to put this out here. As we all know, TTC is like a revolving door and it is great to see our friends get BFPs and just as sad to see people left behind or come back after m/c's.
Maybe I am a very emotional person, but I think it is great that we are all so supportive. But it is important for us all to remember that TTC is a part of our lives and for many of us, there are other things playing in the background.
Some of us have been trying for a short while, others are long timers. But that doesn't make that BFN hurt any worse no matter where you are in your journey. Even though I know everyone has best intentions in mind, please always keep in the back of your mind that sometimes just a little laughter and hugs may be enough to perk that girl up who just got a BFN or AF.
For me, yes, I know we aren't trying as long as many others here. But it hurts terribly. I know in my life, I have many other side issues which compound the pain of the BFN.
I don't know exactly what I am getting at, but I just wanted to say thanks to everyone for being such a great group and just keep in mind that we all grieve and hurt in our own ways and sometimes it is best to allow a person to be sad, even if there are people who have it worse out there, KWIM?
Thanks for hearing me out and thanks to everyone for being so sweet to me today.
And just for clarification, my birthday is the 31st and I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for the early birthday wishes. They really put a smile on my face!

i agree Mich..
i always try to support girls who are upset cause they are out for the month.. no matter where they are in the cycle.. they need that extra hug or smile !

I hope I'm overreacting, but I can't help but feel this thread might be kind directed a lil' bit at me.  I posted on your birthday to me thread saying that I know you're upset, but trying to help you see things in perspective considering this was Cycle #2 and lots of ladies have been here for awhile. I wasn't trying to say you shouldn't be upset--more like 'hey you can be strong thru this!"
if that upset you, it wasn't my intention. i only was saying it, because you seem so very very devastated over this and i was trying to say that you can get thru this...since who knows how long the journey can be and you don't want to feel so down so early on...i guess i'm the type that when i'm down, i need someone to kind of say to me "it will get better...others have gone thru it and made it". but if what i said upset you...like i said...wasn't my intention.

Good thing Melissa said it. I felt the same thing. I felt like it was a bright flashing arrow pointing to me  I did not say it to hurt your feelings. More along the lines of "its okay, it gets better". Plus- on a selfish note, I've been trying for awhile now & felt like a freak because in my 5 "official", seious cycles, I should be pregnant by now because you were so upset over 2, KWIM?
As my mom always said "we all have our own crosses or burdens to bear. If we all put them in a room and had the option to trade, we'd gladly take our own back". I try to keep everything in perspective, allow myself a 5 minute pityparty and pick myself up, dust myself off, and carry on. I hear you 100% with the "other issues". I have major other issues as well- you know my health status. You and I both can not allow stress to rule us either.
Again, chin up. Things are always okay in the end, if they're not okay- it isn't the end.. It will happen!
