The best day ever....come see our Moose of a baby!
After nearly 30 hours of labor (including 3.5 hours of pushing), our baby arrived early Thursday morning.
He was 11 days late, but we came home yesterday afternoon and everyone is doing very well...
Here's a quick picture - julz33 - you'll love his coming home outfit!
9lbs, 11oz baby boy:
When things settle down later this week, I'll post the birth story on the other board to let you know about the Stony Brook midwives, the hospital, the castor oil/orange juice cocktail that induced labor, Bradley classes, - and how our baby came into the world without any drugs - despite the 29 hours of labor we endured....
it's so worth it.

OMG thats too funny I called my midwife on thursday b/c I was really sick and she was on the way to Stony Brook Hospital to deliver a baby I wonder if that was you Congrats!!
