The 2WW and NYE
Is anyone else in this dilemma?
I'll be RIGHT in the middle of the 2ww on NYE and I'm wondering if I should drink or not. 
What are YOU going to do????

Well.... My beta is tomorrow, so Tomorrow night I will either be happy as can be, or upset and Drunk as can be depending on the results.
So depending on the results, it will factor what I am doing... lol...

Ditto! I figure if it's too early to show up on a test, it's too early for any alcohol to permeate the blood stream. From what I remember with DS, they don't share the mother's bloodstream until about 5-6 weeks anyway.

Ditto! I figure if it's too early to show up on a test, it's too early for any alcohol to permeate the blood stream. From what I remember with DS, they don't share the mother's bloodstream until about 5-6 weeks anyway.

after you get your BFP? You need to stay away from unpasteurized cheeses
prior to the BFP, while in the 2ww, enjoy things that your normally would

oh thank you thank you thank you! I had some yesterday and I felt horrible after I ate it! I'm 3DPO so no harm done. I hope... I don't even think I'm preggo though.

today is 7DPO. Honestly, I don't drink a lot anyway, but I will be having a couple. I don't kow, I just don't really feel I have to stop anything before I know I am PG. Thats just my opinion.

thanks for the info!! I'm almost 6 weeks, and I drank quite a bit in the first month, I really didn't think I was pregnant......esp. since I got laid off, I've went out and drank about 5 times! I was nervous my baby would come out with a shot glass in hand

Most feta cheese is pasteurized. I ate pasteurized feta throughout my pregnancy.

I am in the wait. AF is due on the 6th. I will still be drinking on NYE. When i went to the DR. a while back, he told me to go about my normal routine until i finf out. The baby does not attach for like 5 weeks i think. However, i will not get myself to the point where i am oblivious.

Last year I had my beta scheduled for Jan 2nd for my last IUI cycle.
I'm not a big drinker anyway, but you better believe, I enjoyed a couple glasses of wine with dinner on NYE as well as a nice glass of champagne at midnight!
So, I say ENJOY!

Dude, I'm drinking! I drank up until my HPT with the last pregnancy, when I had no idea I was pregnant. I was a week late, chalked it up to stress - and continued my party summer. My kid is just fine!!!! A few won't hurt!!!

Dude, I'm drinking! I drank up until my HPT with the last pregnancy, when I had no idea I was pregnant. I was a week late, chalked it up to stress - and continued my party summer. My kid is just fine!!!! A few won't hurt!!!
I had a house warming party the night before my BFP (we had only moved into our house 2 weeks prior to that) and got WASTED. Woke up at 7am, hung over and took a HPT

I will be drinking tomorrow night, but when I say drinking I don't drink heavily BUT in the 2ww, I don't stop living my life.
until I get that BFP....my life goes on.

I was completely wasted the night before I got my BFP with my son - I didn't think it worked that month and there was no chance I was pregnant.
