This is a very overwhelming time in our lives right now with all that is going on. However, there have been wars, depression, and other catastrophes in the world for centuries and if our ancestors decided not to have children we wouldn't be here today. They got through it and we will get through it.

The way I see it is that from the minute we are conceived, our path in life is already determined.....wat will happen will happen, there's nothing I can do to stop it.
AND, I'm not gonna let these friggin psycho terrorist bastards determine how I live my life!!! They already killed my aunt, why should they stop me from having kids!!!!!

That's the first thing I thought of when I heard the news. I looked over at my sleeping baby and almost cried over the fact that she is soo unaware of what evil and hatred exists in the world

the same thought ran through my mind today when i heard about heathrow..it's scary but i really do want kids. We will just have to be prepared.

I think every generation had events that caused them to re-think having children. If I wanted kids, I wouldn't let it stop me.
I agree with this. Most of our parents were brought up during the Cold War where the fear of Nuclear War happening at any moment was a real possiblity.

I found out I was pregnant on 9/11. Well I i knew but blood tests came back that day.
My father said to me today that he feels so scared for all of his grandchildren growing up in the dangers of today
