I agree with the posters that say it's the best time to go. When DS was 8 months old, I took him to Greece (by myself!) to visit my father. He was GREAT on the flight, adjusted to the time difference without any issues whatsoever, and I was able to take him everywhere. He'd just sit in his stroller like a good little baby. He's 26 months old now and I could not imagine taking that trip again with him now. He refuses to sit still! IMO you should go and have a good time!
