totally depends!
south of old country road by carman avenue is nice. as you go further south into salisbury it gets even nicer.
north of old country road is not as nice... and very close to new cassel, which, i hate to say, is NOT a good area at ALL.
if you go further west, towards the source mall, those are fairly nice homes too, but i am not sure about how "nice" the area is.

I would only purchase in the East Meadow SD (Salisbury area) or of course, Old Westbury SD.

i live in the salisbuy area of westbury (east meadow SD) it is a nice neighborhood! there is also a neighborhood in westbury that is carle place SD which is also very nice. Westbury school district and new cassal are not the greatest areas of westbury. hope that helps.

That area is really nice, though many of the homes are small cabanas. But that whole area (and just on the other side of glen cove road, north of westbury ave) is part of Carle Place schools, which are really good.
Like others have said, i would look at the Carle Place section of W'bury and Salisbury (east meadow schools). Avoid the west village, new cassel, breezy hill or anything else that falls within westbury school system. Breezy hill is still decent (some blocks are questionable), but i cant see the point in paying those crazy taxes for a school system that you definitely would not want to use.

There is no old westbury SD. Old Westbury goes to either Westbury, East Williston or Jericho.

Certaion areas of Westbury area are nice with good School districts. look into Cp schools & east meadow/clark school districts. Westbury in itself is nice, Breezey Hill are is very nice, cept its westbury schools

i live in salisbury and the area is really nice, the neighbors are all friendly with each other. we're actually selling our house right now. it's a really great house and we're now reducing the price. here's the link

oh and it's east meadow school district. the taxes aren't really high. at least not for this house
