Team Green - Sono Tech Clues?
I had a sono today and I told the tech I didnt want to know the gender. At one point when she was taking her measurements she said, "Turn away if you dont want to know". My first thought was that its a boy! Is this what they normally say to team green people?

Re: Team Green - Sono Tech Clues?
I hada fetal echo done with my 2nd, and asnother tech walked in to talk to my tech...that tech said, babys spread eagle, if you don't want to know dont look...I was so pissed...she wasnt even my tech I had a boy
That being said, at my fetal for my first, the tech said, I ALWAYS refer to baby as he. I had to walk around to get baby to move. Tech came in and said, hows she doing...uhh he doing, you doing....haha thought it was a girl, had a
So you just never know for sure

Exactly. If there is a really clear shot, you will see either way. They do this all the time, you really can clearly tell either way if it's a good angle. Don't read anything more into it.

Re: Team Green - Sono Tech Clues?
My sono tech told me... whoops we just saw the gender- did you notice it? I had no idea what I was looking at so I said, oh I guess that means it was a boy, huh? and later she said "ohhh look at HIM" BUT.... at the end of the session she revealed it was a GIRL! DH said it clearly looked like a girl too. So I think you have to turn away because either way you might be able to tell. so no, that does not mean it is a boy... and don't listen to how they speak either. i think they just throw the he's and she's and him's and her's in there just to use something- and it may not be accurate so no point in reading into it.

Re: Team Green - Sono Tech Clues?
sorry to hijack, but I don't think it means boy either. I have one of each and it was pretty obvious at my sono's both their genders.

If you really don't want to know, stop reading into everything they are saying.
For me, Team Green was a breeze. I said at the beginning of every appointment that I didn't want to know, and I never overanalyzed what they said.
You will drive your self crazy!

Re: Team Green - Sono Tech Clues?
no I dont think so cause my tech said you can obviously see what I was having. Not being a tech and seeing images every day unless its blaring in your sight. I wouldnt look though, I did and it confirmed my feeling that I was having a we wanted to find out though together.

Re: Team Green - Sono Tech Clues?
they usually say that - i think in case you know what youre looking at - i had no clue - they were looking at the stomach one time, and i was like "oh is that the brain" the tech giggled at me..
they also start by saying how they refer to the baby - most have always said "he" to me

Re: Team Green - Sono Tech Clues?
at my 18 week appt my doctor asked me if i wanted to know. I told him that i did, but since my DH wasn't there I would need to wait till my level 2 sono at 20 weeks. So he told me he was going to cover the "bottom half" of the sono... so I started to have some indications that i was carrying a boy... it was confirmed at my 20 week sono.
