For those of you not finding out, what do you call  when referring to "it"? I sometimes catch myself saying "he" or "him". Of course, that leads everyone to say, OMG, do you know! 
What do you refer to the baby as?

If we don't say the baby/Sola/Uno (our other nick names) then it's he or she.

When talking, I usually call the baby "It", I think it's just a habit, I don't mean to speak of the baby as not a baby. Someone ridiculed me once for saying 'it' and it made me feel like I was a horrible person. But I can't help it.
I have been caught calling the baby her or him as well...just whatever comes out.

In the beginning I would always say, "she." Now I have been finding myself say, "he!"

i try to say "the baby" but most of the time I say "it" which I dont like saying. It just comes out

We used to say "he" or "him - since my gut feeling was that it was a boy - and it was!

before we found out the gender, I referred to Crouton as 'crouton' as much as possible... tried to avoid pesky pronouns...
Mom would call crouton 'she' since she claimed all babies are 'she' until a gender is determined  at least in her world, that is

Since the beginning I've had it in my head that it's a  so I do find myself at times referring to the baby as he/him. More often than not though I just say "the baby".

before i knew what he was, i always referred to the baby as "he" or "him" - i never really thought i was having a boy, (i am obviously lacking in instinct ) but it was just easier that way.
