I could have sworn I saw on here that some times in TCC are to eat Barilla Pasta...Is that true? If so, what are some other tips? Does B6 vitamin really help?

Just one of those days, right? Chat Icon I've never tried barilla pasta but I do try to take a prenatal vitamin and a B6 supplement every day. I do the B6 because I have a short luteal phase and it is *supposed* to lengthen it. I only know this from tracking my months by temping and using opks. I also use pre-seed when doing BD around O time. Because I'm really ridiculous, I also raise my legs after BD around O time to help the little swimmers along. Chat Icon Yes I really do that! Chat Icon Just typing it out seems silly but hey whatever works!!

I asked my holistic nutritionist about the pasta and she said that whole wheat in general is better than white bread.
My issue is that I have long irregular cycles so she has me on raspberries, avocado, walnuts, goji berries, and a wheat grass tea.
She said that it should help me ovulate and allow healthy eggs to mature.
Like teachergal, I also keep my legs up after BD and take prenatals.

Thanks. I too have been keeping my legs up after BD. I know it seems silly to type it. I only eat whole wheat bread so hopefully that will work too. I'm already taking prenatals and extra folic acid. I could add vitamin B6. Thanks for the tips ladies!!!!!

i believe in b6! i was ttc for a few months and having really long cycles (33-37 days; ovulating around CD21-24). I started B6 and that month is when i got my bfp...and to add my cycle was much shorter (more "normal") i ovulated on CD15 and got my bfp on CD27

Also try to give up caffeine it restricts the blood flow to you uterus and when you give it up every thing is more oxygenated and healthier circulation. On top of prenatal vitamins, DH has a vitamin regimen, drink tons of water and I take a baby asprin every day. I am also drinking fertilit-tea!!
