Ours went up $200 for the year. We are pretty low at $5,300 compared to others on the island.

Yup - ours went up but they are assessing at less than what we purchased so no grievance...I guess we just have to deal.

Our's went up 1800.00 - They go up every year - I just wasn't expecting it to be that much. With star, we are now at 10,000/year.

My Aunt used to work for the Nassau County Tax Assessor. She'd be the one who would come to your house and roll that little thing around your yard.
Between having her life threatened and people screaming at her on the phone all day - it was good that she retired a few years ago. I can't even imagine what its like there now

you should check to see if you are grandfathered in b/c of the Northville oil leak about 20 years ago
