Tax Grievance - it worked!
I didn't think it ever worked! but, i just got my letter from maidenbaum stating that the town made an offer of my value from 740 to 690... my house value is downright terrible, but, hey, i'll accept paying 1K less per year!!

Congratulations! It can definitely work.
Also - not to hijack your thread, but it's a good segue to remind people that new school taxes came out today for Nassau. If you go on www.mynassauproperty.com, you can look up the 2013 school taxes to see how much your taxes will go up (if at all) and the amount of the STAR exemption for 2013, etc.
