talk to me - BD before O
I am CD12 and ususally ovulate around CD15/16.
We plan to BD on CD12/14/16/17 but I see so many people stressing about their BD schedule AFTER ovulation.
Is anyone else planning to BD before ovulation as part of TTC (i know people just DTD here and there but I mean tracking it)?
I also know that there is speculation of greater chances of conceiving a  if you BD several days before ovulation vs. closer to or on the day of ovulation. I guess this is why I am stressing about this  We'd like one of each and to be done (and we already have a 19 month old   )

I bd'ed 2 days before ovulation and on my ovulation day . I was using opks this time around to get pregnant. I know they dont pinpoint exact time of ovualation But it worked the first month we were trying. Im now 31 weeks and having a Good luck Cant wait to see you over on the pregnancy board again

we have been doing every other day before I Ovulate, then 3 days in a row when I get +.... this is mostly cause I am not exactly sure when i will ovulate cause my cycles are not quite conistent (well they are every other cycle, but I just really confirmed that). When I know when I am going to ovulate, we plan to do more  before I do....
don't know what works for me yet since we have been trying since June and have had no luck yet

the two times I got a BFP we on CD 11, 12, 14, 15, 17 (and ovulated on 14)
then
CD 9, 10, 12, 14, 15, 17 and got my  on CD 15

I rarely BD after Ovulation. I think BD as close as you can BEFORE Ovulation gives you the best chance of CONCEIVING... PERIOD.
ETA: you want as much sperm as possible waiting in your ovarie(s) for the egg to release... if you do it after its like finding a needle in a haystack for the sperm.
