DO it.

You will probably love it.

If you don't, it wears off right?

It's for YOU. That's the big bonus. Chat Icon

I'm pretty scared it will look weird, fake and feel tight. Uncomfy tight.

DO IT -
it's not permanent - if you hate it, you just have to wait for it to wear off and then never do it again -

Ehhh Botox freaks me out - it's Botulism
. Botox is short for "botulinum toxin"

I also don't like the idea of not being able to make facial expressions for 6 months

OMG, yes!

What I meant was I'm not going to try and sell her on the points that would stop me because it's not my face and not my decision and besides I'm wayyy outnumbered. No matter what I say I'm wrong apparently. Chat Icon

Sorry, I wouldn't do it. I am more scared of what potential long term effects could be? They haven't been using it for that long.

I am not educated on the subject so I may be wrong, but don't they inject a chemical into your skin? If its not permanent, where does this chemical go?

Not trying to start controversy, again I am not fully educated on the topic.

Re: Talk me into or out of this

I've done it before.

The first time I didn't like it. The doctor asked me if I wanted him to do my crows feet -- I figured sure, why not. I thought that it totally changed my cheeks and made my eyes look sunken.

Since then, I only have had him do between my eyes and a couple of lines across my forehead. For that, I like it. I think less is more.

It takes a couple of days for it to start taking effect, so when you walk out of the office and don't notice a difference right away, don't panic.

I'm lucky -- my husband works with an Ocular Plastic Surgeon, so when he has a patient that is getting Botox I can go in and get it done for free.

If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.Chat Icon

I'd do it. Ask them to start off with a very small amount. If you think you need more you can go back for more.

I swear I know nothing about this...Chat Icon

Re: Talk me into or out of this

I honestly know nothing about it but have been thinking about looking into it. So based on the fact that I know NOTHING about the process or what "botox" actually is. I say...

DO IT!!!!!!!!!

I happen to have HUGE worry lines in between my brows & would give anything to get rid of them!

If you decide to do it, let us know how it went!!!
