Taking a break
DH wants a "break" from TTC. I don't get it. It hasn't been that long, and we're not getting younger. What is he waiting for?
Oh, and he doesn't want to use condoms or PNP. He wants me to go back on the pill. I told him that if he doesn't want to get me pregnant, it's HIS turn to do something about it. Now he's ticked.

hmm why the sudden change of heart? are you guys ttc your first?
I def agree with you about not getting back on the pill; i hope he sees it from your perspective

i'm sorry your dealing with this. Is there a reason why all of a sudden your DH doesn't want to TTC anymore? I'm assuming that you had both discussed TTC when you first actually started trying but for him to change his mind...maybe he is scared thinking about the responsibilty? have you tried talking to him to find out what is going on?

I'm so sorry! How long have you guys been TTC?
I think going back on the pill might just prolong things even longer because you'll probably need a few cycles once he's ready again for your body to get back to normal.
Is there any reason in particular he wants to take a break? Does he feel too much pressure?

We're TTC #2. Our first is 2. It took almost a year to get a BFP the first time, with medical help. This time, we've only been trying for a few months on our own. My work schedule is crazy and so it his and raising a toddler is hard. I think he just feels overwhelmed by it all. We always agreed on 2 kids though. We got married "late" and waited a few years to have a child, so time is not on our side, so this sudden change of heart is making me crazy!

Can you see if he will maybe just wing it? I found the more I discussed it or told DH I was ovulating the more he was stressed about it. The less we talked about it and just went with the flow (or at least as far as he knew) the better he was about everything.
I think men need to know very little about the process.
