Super Annoying Customer Service Calls from Verizon

I could NOT get this guy off the phone!!! He called about my contract renewal. FOR SEPTEMBER.

"Why are you calling me in May about this?"

Blah blah bs from him.

"I don't have time for a huge conversation about it. Please do not call me in the evenings."

"This isn't a huge conversation -"

"No but really, it is. You've kept me on the phone for over 8 minutes. I don't talk to my mom for that long."

"I don't mean to be rude or pushy..."

"Really? Yet you're acting that way anyway."

Finally he gave me an 800 to call at my convenience.

Okay, I needed to get that out. Thank you.

Awesome conversation. Can you come to my house and field all of our "service" calls, that usually end up being sales calls?

I LOVE customer service calls. When they ask me how I am I tell them every detail of my sad day and go off on tangents as much as possible. The last guy that called was told all about my digestive issues and how I was feeling backed up. Next time make it a game I can only imagine the things you would tell them.

I told them if they don't stop calling I am switching to at&t and the calls stopped for a few months.
eta: my dh just gives the phone to our 2 year old when we get sales calls.
