Sunday FMQOTD...
Good Afternoon ladies! Here is my final QOTD.
Today's QOTD is...
Did you have pets growing up? If so, what was your first pet? Do you plan on having pets around your LO's?
If not, do you plan on having pets around your LO's?
I grew up always having a pet...either a dog or a cat or both. THe first pet I remember was a kitten and I named her starlight after the Madonna song Lucky Star...lol. We also had hamsters and once a bunny rabbit that we won at a carnival. Right now, DH and I have three pets-a dog and two cats. I can't imagine my life without pets and I absolutely want my LOs to grow up in a househould with a dog and cat.

I grew up with a dog...he died when i was 10.
We have a dog now thats 1 1/2 yrs old so hopefully he will be around a long time with our kids.

We have two lazy house cats that will hopefully be around for a long time with our LO, Once we have a house we'll probaby add a dog to the mix, I'm a bit of an animal lover

I didn't grow up with any pets that I actually played with --we had some fish, a gerbil, hermit crabs and a chameleon, all at different times, and they stayed in their cages/tanks!
Now though, I have an ori pei (pug-shar pei mix) and she's so good with little kids and babies! She's like another mom to them I'm so excited for our LO to grow up with pets s/he can play with!

You have to post a pic of your dog for me. We have a pug and love anything that has to do with pugs.

I did not grow up with any pets, my mom is not an animal lover, but I always wanted one.
My dh got me a dog when we moved in together. He is now 4 yrs old and I cannot wait until he becomes a big brother and I am excited that my child will know him one day. Image Attachment(s):

I always had pets growing up. My first was a goldfish named "Christina". Very creative, right?! Now I have a dog named Shelby and a cat named Kitty. I've had Shelby since I was 11 years old and she is my baby. I definitely plan on having pets for my LO.

I had a pigeon dont ask....and a cat named brandon walsh....I had some fish too...
I will probably get a dog after the kids are old enough! I love cats but i dont want them to mess up my furniture lol.

DH and I have always had dogs growing up. We have a 1 year old yellow lab now who, I have no doubt, will be a great big brother when the time comes! He is a beast (109 lbs!) but is so gentle with my little nephews that I think he'll do great with a LO!!

I always had pets growing up...dogs, a cat, birds, fish, a ferret and rabbits (not all at the same time, lol). I definitely think it is important for children to grow up with pets. It teaches them empathy, compassion and responsibility, plus, they are so loving and are great companions. We currently have a house full of pets (2 cats, 3 rabbits and our yellow lab, Jensen) so our LO will definitely have that experience.

We always had pets growing up. Dogs, cats, hampsters rabits. We had a lot. But my dogs were always my favorites We still have Duke our golden retriever but hes at my moms. Me and dh have a cat and i soo want a dog but DH says baby first and Im ok with that!
