Re: sun/pool question
its best to stay out of the sun. your skin is very sensitive right now. the pool is fine. make sure you wear high spf sunscreen. DH wont let me out of the house in anything less than 70.

Re: sun/pool question
I lay out once a week for about an hour with no SPF on.. I didn't even think twice about it. I've been okay. My dr said to just drink lots of water & put on sunscreen no matter what.... To be honest, I rarely remember.. It's so bad!

Re: sun/pool question
When we went to AC my OB gave me the ok for the sun, beach and pool - I just had to promise to use lots of sunblock & drink lots of water. Have fun!

Re: sun/pool question
the sun and pool are fine. you should always wear sunscreen whether pregnant or not so just make sure you stay hydrated. i wouldn't sunbathe, but i wouldn't stay out of the sun either. it's important for pregnant women to stay hydrated.
keep in mind that pregnant women can also discolor the skin on their faces--i don't remember the technical term and not everyone has it, but it's called the "mask of pregnancy". if you're prone to it, the sun will make it worse.

Re: sun/pool question
You're totally fine, but definitely apply sunblock because you don't know how your skin is going to react to the sun. I know for me, my skin never changed when I was preggo with DS or with this pregnancy, so I'm fine with SPF 15. But I have heard of people being super sensistive when they're pregnant and burning easily.

Re: sun/pool question
definately ok! Every weekend I spend the entire day in the pool in the sun. I put my SPF 15 on & drink tons of water & have ices....As long as you stay hydrated. You will know if you can't take the sun anymore though

Re: sun/pool question
If you go in the sun, make sure to wear a hat and sunblock and keep hydrated. The pool is absolutely fine.
