Summer shorts for Toddler boys
Is anyone successful in finding shorts that are actually short? All the shorts I have for DS in size 24 months or 2T are so long on him, they look like he is wearing capris...18 months is too tight on him..I mostly have Okie Dokie & Children's place....
I want to find him some shorts that actually go to his knees or a little below, not all the way to his shin..

I find the carters ones are pretty short, I have a few from CP that are shorter but some of their cargoes are super long---I actually have the opposite problem, I look for the long shorts so my boys skin their knees less

I bought mostly from old navy and carters. I bought 18-24 or 24 mo/2T depending. the 24s/2t's are kinda long yet, but the old navys seem to fit him fine.

Oh crud. I never tried Liam's shorts on him. Are you telling me he is going to be in Manpri's all summer long????
I did notice today at carters that the shorts looked really short. Maybe that's what I need?

I did notice today at carters that the shorts looked really short. Maybe that's what I need?
Trish, I never tried the shorts on JJ until yesterday & I was shocked at how long they are. I am not returning them, so I guess Liam & him will be sporting some manpri's this summer! I am going to check out Kohl's & Carters bc I need to be able to see his knees!. Even this afternoon, he was hiking his shorts up & babbling to me!

Last summer I bought his shorts at Target (circo), but a size smaller then he was wearing in pants. They are elastic waist so it wasn't a big deal. I think he was wearing 18 month shorts and everything else was 24 month-3T.

Ds has one pair from the Gap and one pair from Carters that look "short".
The rest of them are long - he will definitely be in manpris this summer (and he's short).
He looked ridiculous ysterday - DH dressed him in a pair of long shorts, a shirt that was too big, and his triple roll socks - there was no leg exposed at all!

Agreed.. And you probably wont beat the price. They have some great sales at Khols all the time.

last yr i went to kohls and target - very light weight and shorter than others..
this yr i went to old navy and gap and didnt like them..
im on the search as well - im thinking carters.. i like the mesh kind they have

B is skinny and has short legs. The Target (Circo) shorts fit him best.
