stupid question about internals..

How do they do it since they do a regular check up as well, so they have you undress do the internal, get dressed and measure your belly, listen to the heart beat or do you lisen to the heart beat uthen undress...can Dh be in the room?

They have you get undressed from the waist down. They will have you lay down, they will measure your belly, check the heartbeat and then do the internal. DH was with me everytime also.

I always had to put one of those paper things on over my "chacha" lol

I had an enternal exam when I have having all the contractions and I had a paper gown on too.

ETA: Plus they have seen lotttttssss of "ChaChas".

Your ChaCha will be out for everyone to see during labor so just get used to it now.. As my sister said before I had my DD, your dignity is OVERRRRRRRRRR!! And at that point you don't care who delivers your baby as long as it comes out!! AND she was so right!!
I had a really nice labor too.... Not really painful just ALOT of hard work... And my husband was there for the 2nd internal not the first..
