Re: Strollers
Im getting the Graco Safe Seat and the Graco frame thingy to start me off with...In the past I have learned that lifestyle dictates a lot of what kind of stroller I will need..Hopefully once the baby is here I'll be able to see what my actual needs are...
Examples:
Boy I wish this had a bigger basket..OK so I need a stroller with a big basket.
Why is this thing so flimsy..OK maybe Id prefer a little bit heavier of a stroller this time around.
ETC..

do you mean get a matching car set and stroller? if that's what you mean, no. if things match that's more for mom and aesthetics.

Re: Strollers
We got the Snap and Go to use with our Snugride car seat when the baby is little....
Then we got the Graco Quattro Tour to use after the baby outgrows the infant seat (although you CAN use it wit the infant seat if you choose)...
We liked it because it seemed sturdy and pretty easy to manuever. Plus there's a pretty big basket underneath and it reclines....

Re: Strollers
I'm in the car seat stroller vortex now also.
I've decided that I will get an Infant car seat probably either the
Baby Trend Flex-Loc from Target or
Per Perego Primo Viaggio SIP in Toffee.
(Both were rated A- from Baby Bargains which is what I'm basing a lot on.)
I will get a Snap & Go stroller to use until the baby outgrows the infant car seat. Then use a regular, light weight stroller.
I didn't go for the travel set w/ seat & stroller. No one I know who had it really liked it or used them together.
l will hopefully have some strollers picked out today.

Re: Strollers
We're getting the Chicco Cortina in Discovery pattern. We liked it because of it's ease of use, maneuverability and the fact that the foot part turned up to form sort of a carriage. It seemed like a very comfortable carriage too.

This is what we registered for too. I went back to the store 3x to try to decide between the Graco Metrolite and the Peg Perego Pliko P3, and I ended up deciding I liked the Chicco Cortina more.

Re: Strollers
Bugaboo Frog in navy
I've always wanted this stroller as it is super comfortable to navigate...I live in Queens so I'd be doing a lot of walking with my newborn before the winter hits...also in the spring and summer time we do a lot of outdoor activities so a good activity stroller is a must.

Re: Strollers
Based on Baby Bargains ratings (and test-driving in the store) we registered for the Primo Viaggio SIP Car Seat - Mint, 2007 Aria Ultra Lightweight Stroller - Mint (our lightweight stroller), and the Inglesina® Zippy Stroller - Ebano (our full-size stroller).
The Infant seat fits onto both strollers. We originally wanted the Graco snugride car seat but the Graco Quattro stroller that the seat can attach to seemed extremely heavy to lift into the back of our SUV (I think it weighs almost 30 lbs, while the Inglesina is only 17). I don't think I could lift it on my own.

Re: Strollers
I have the Peg Perego Pliko 3 with the matching car seat. When DS was still in the infant carseat, I would place it in the stroller. Very easy and convenient!
Now I use the Pliko3 and the Maclaren Techno umbrella stroller, both great!
