Do they do the swab even if you are a scheduled C?

I think some doctors do it for a scheduled C and some don't. I didn't have a c section, but both times the swab was done for me at 36 weeks.

Thanks! I just checked my old posts from DS and it looks like my OB does it at 36w too. Now I don't have to shave tonight

Oh I agree, my OB doesn't do the anal swab so it isn't a huge deal. I just haven't had to take my pants off for the last bunch of appts and didn't feel like shaving tonight.
