Strep, do your kids get it often and if so...
does the doctor ever recommend having his/her tonsils taken out? My daughter has had strep twice in 4 weeks, if she hhas it 2 or 3 more times the doc said it is usually recommended to have them removed We still have the entire flu season to get through

ETA: I had mine out when I was younger because had strep 4 times in one year.

My son gets strep a lot. He has had it 3 times in the past 10 months. The ped. told us that if he gets it again in the next 3-4 months he will refer us to an ENT. Our ped. said that he uses a rule of having strep 4 times in a 12-14 month period and then he thinks they need to come out.
