Blood pressure a little high AND positive for Strep B...
That was my dr's visit today....
the good news is I havent gained weight in 3 weeks!

I am also positive for strep b, just more medicine they will need to pump us with when we go to the hospital

Group B pos is common, nothing to worry about, they will treat you with antibiotic during labor.

Strep B is common, they will give you antibiotics in the hospital.
Watch your salt intake, so your blood pressure doesn't go up anymore, thats what happened to me and I got preclamsia.....

I had high blood pressure near the end as well as being GBS positive. They gave me antibiotics and monitored my blood pressure throughout labor. It was a pain to be connected to so much stuff but in the end I have a beautiful baby girl

high blood pressure due to not being done yet!
take it easy--do the small things u def need like a labor bag.
As long as there is no protein in your urine!
my strep test is weds..was it fun???
its common..although..I would have assumed it meant I had strep throat!

The strep test is exactly like a pap test.... I don't know, some people may consider that a Saturday night party....
Thanks ladies My dr. said 40% of all pregnant women test positive for the strep B, but I really didn't feel like getting plugges with more crap when I'm in labor...
The higher blood pressure thing scared me though - I have ALWAYS had excellent blood pressure from working out and being in shape - I always had the nurse say - " wow - your blood pressure is GREAT!" and even thru my pregnancy - this was the 1st time.... They had me lie on my left side and test again, and it tested a little lower... I even had a nightmare about having high blood pressure last night.... Now, thats a waste of a perfectly good spot for an X-rated sex dream!
