Straw Sippy rave! Especially for new sippy users!
OK so DS has been using a sippy cup since 11 months, but the spout kind. I would give him a straw sippy, but he'd just kinda bite it, play with it. I don't think he realized that milk or water came out of it, KWIM?
I bought him this sippy cup and he IMMEDIATELY "got" it! You (an adult, not a child) can squeeze the cup in a spot to push liquid into the straw. Baby realizes milk/water/juice is coming out of the straw and they start sucking!
You had to see how excited I was, lol. I put it in his mouth, squeezed it a bit, and he just started sucking! So now he's using straw sippies! (These and the munchkin ones which I've tried on and off for months and he didn't do anything with but bite).
Just throwing it out there for those that want to start their kids on straw sippies or if their kids have had a problem "getting" the straw part.

DD has been using this sippy since about 8 months and I agree....it's great. She caught on very quickly.

DD#2 uses these and LOVES them!! She drinks a lot of water all day because of them, and actually prefers them to regular sippies.

Ditto! My only issue with them is that they leak sometimes but they are a GREAT straw sippy to start with.
