Storing milk for going back to work

I was looking on kellymom for help it says to divide the times the baby eats by 25. He is 5 wks and he eats 11-12 times a day. I am going back in 7 wks and I am wondering if he will be eating the same by then. Now if I pump I give him 2.5 oz. If I pump to store do I pump right into the bag and store that? Or do I just put a whole days worth in the bag. I will be gone for work about 11 hours a day. Then when I go to work do I pump in a bottle then put in the bag later. Sorry, I am really confused and insite will be appreciated.

Storing milk for going back to work

I pumped into the bottles that came with my pump. I would then transfer the milk in 4oz increments into the bags and freeze those. When I went back to work my 12w old was drinking 4ozs at a time. You don't want to waste milk by filling the bags too much. When I went back to work I gave daycare four 4oz bottles and then gave them a frozen bag just in case she needed more.

I would put 2 servings in a storage bag (5oz). When my supply was in surplus I (like Dee) stored milk in 4 oz increments thats how much my bsby took in her bottles.

Is 4oz what most 12 month olds take for a feeding?

12 weeks? My D took 3 oz @ that time. She is 8 m & only takes 4oz (i pump & feed). Every bsby is different do don't compare. If your baby is satisfied w 4 oz then that's ok.
