still learning... question
Hi Ladies,
TTC really plays a number on your mind and emotions. I probably should have waited until around AF to question if this was our month or not but I hate waiting, who doesn't... So a little background:
I got a smiley on Thursday morning and Friday morning. DH and I BD on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I tried taking my temp last week but wasn't good about it (I like to snooze the alarm a couple times and was worried it would mess up the temp). The highest it was was 97.4 and 97.7 mid week. This morning I took my temp and I was 97.4. I knew I shouldn't have done this but was hoping I'd see I was 98 or higher with hopes of being pregnant. I know it's early and I didn't temp every day but is there any chance I could still be pregnant with that low of a temp?

I think its tough to say without a pattern of temperatures. There could be a number of factors as to why your temp today was still low. You would expect a temp rise after ovulation but I personally have seen a day or two after ovulation where my temperatures drop. The overall trend should be higher though.

ITA with this.
I'm a snoozer myself lol. I just make sure to put the thermometer in my mouth immediately after hitting the snooze button.

You really can't see a pattern in temps until you temp for a few cycles. Looking at just a snapshot of one will not really tell you much.
