Starting to freak out and need some reassurance
This is the first month of using CBE OPK. I've been using FMU b/c of my schedule as this is the easiest. I'm on CD18 and still no
My first 3 cycles off the pill were exactly 28 days and my last cycle was 35 days.(I don't chart)
Just freaking out a bit at the no and being on day 18. Also, when I pop the test out of the "tester" I look at the lines and the actual test line NEVER gets darker. I've been testing since CD9 and the test line is always super light. Isn't it supposed to get progressively darker as you get closer to Oing?
BUT this whole week, I've noticed an increase in CM and have been getting a pinching feeling by my ovaries, but the pinching doesn't stay to one side....it moves back and forth. Based on these signs, I thought I'd def get my
Freaking out just a bit....but is it too early to freak out? Could the OPK have missed my LH surge b/c I only test 1x/day? Is it possible that I O much later? But if that is the case, why all the other body symptoms? Need some help/support/comments/thoughts whatever ladies.
ETA: sorry for the craziness!

Re: Starting to freak out and need some reassurance
I'd say if you're going to have another 30-something day cycle, don't freak out yet, because it makes sense that you didn't o yet. What has your LP been? If you have a 34-35 day cycle, it's probable you wouldn't O until CD 20--a 14-15 day LP. I O on CD20 and also feel a long build up--pinching, wet CM. I always think I'm going to O earlier, but it's been like clockwork that I get a positive on CD19. Hang in there. Hopefully you'll get a POS tomorrow!
ETA: Isn't it supposed to get progressively darker as you get closer to Oing? ------------------- Not necessarily. I've had some that look darker than others and it doesn't necessarily lead up to O. Last month my OPK was pretty light on CD18. I was convinced I wasn't going to get a pos the next day, but I did!

Re: Starting to freak out and need some reassurance
I am sorry you are going through this. If your cycle is 35 days or longer than you probably wouldn't have Oed yet if you figure that LP is 10-16 days. I have the same thing going on. CD25 and no +OPK. It is really frustrating and annoying. Are you BDing on a regular anyway? I am trying to every other day, being that this is my first month using OPK, just in case I don't get my positive or I miss it, we will still have a chance. I hope you get your + very soon. As far as the twinges go, I get that throughout my cycle and have come to realize that, for me, it is not necessarily a symptom of Oing.
Feel free to FM me if you'd like to vent.
HTH!

Re: Starting to freak out and need some reassurance
Thanks girls! You're all awesome!
We've been BD at least every other day since AF stopped...some days are a few days in a row. Just hoping to cover all of our bases. I think I was thinking more along the lines of a 28 day cycle where you would O around CD14. It never occured to me, until you girls pointed it out, that if my cycle is 30+ days that the O would come later. Thanks for that. Sometimes, just being in the thick of it, it's hard to see the obvious facts.
