As the highest law enforcement officer in the state, why should there be a question of pressing charges? 
He should of resigned two days ago.

As the highest law enforcement officer in the state, why should there be a question of pressing charges?
He should of resigned two days ago.
My guess is that he was using it as a bargaining chip in working out a deal wth the USAO...

I just heard on the radio his statement that he is resigning on Monday!
ETA: I believe it's a live statement.

yep, resignation effective Monday supposedly at Patterson's request... more likely that he's trying to work out a deal with the USAO and wants more time.
I just feel so bad for his wife and daughters.
