SPINOFF: What movies are difficult to watch but you think are important to see?
For me I'd have to say Farenheit 911 is way up there, as is Hotel Rwanda.
What movie do you feel is important for people to see, even though it is hard to watch?

though I haven't seen it yet, I would think World Trade Center along with Farenheit 9/11 or any movie about 9/11 for that matter

Recently I watch Sybil.. I thought this was one of the hardent movies for me to get through but what an inpack it made on me after I got done watching it.. I really had a hard time watching the scenes where she was abused.

Mi Tierra, about Cuba with/directed by Andy Garcia
(if you're interested in Cuba, that is)
Higher Learning--just a really eye-opening look at societal youth
Kids--for the same reason

It's really an amazing movie... it will leave you feeling drained, but it's a good one.
All of the movies listed I think are amazing movies and a great insight into our history.
We Were Soldiers is another really great one.

I have tried to watch that movie a billion times and i'm hysterical with in the first 5 minutes b/c of my families history with it ..but I def. think its important to see it

Me too, and I have a new view on this movie. The woman that cut herself to put blush and lipstick on her face that went up to see Schindler to beg for her brother was based on the mother of one of the executives at my company. But you know what's great? He is a very TOP executive at my company. Good for him!
