Love the Blue Bay Diner, my dad took us there a lot for a quick bite back in the day!
On LI, I don't usually do diner's.... But I have been to the On Parade diner in Woodbury with a few coworkers for lunch.

Mitchells of Valley Stream and Oceanside
We also loved this diner in Seaford...I think it was the Seaford Diner? Nice selection of salads we really loved it

Grandpa loves it there!! It's his "Cheers" where everybody knows his name!!
OK....actually........it's really the furthest he should drive too, so he ends up there alot!!
To answer though.....I don't know the same but it maybe my new FAVE!! On Sunrise in Rockville Centre!! (and we do diners a lot because of when we go riding!!!)

hands down - The Seacrest Diner in Sayville!
they have these AMAZING panini's on fresh baked focaccia bread!  they put tons of cheese on the sandwich. it is SO GOOD!
ETA: and their matza ball soup is the best darn soup I have ever had in any Diner!
