I just thought it was weird that some posted "certain car makes" or "certain" whatever so as not to upset anyone but posted other things.
But yes, I was a little  that so many people think Disney is overrated and how much we  it!!
That was me. It was a judgement call. I don't see someone getting upset that I don't care for a pair of uggs but if I called their pet over rated or car they spent $$$$$$ on It is a little different to me.

I couldn't believe some of the stuff I love was on there...
desperate housewifes, Sex and the city  , designer handbags  etc.
Oh well to each there own... thats what makes us individuals 
I love all those things too- and cold stone and panera
basicaly everything that people think are over rated!
and JHS- that saved my life and so not overated to me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think we all have values and likes that are completely different. I don't expect anyone to understand my obsession with ZZZ (insert your favorite thing here) and not YYY (someone elses).

There just opinions, who cares what anyone else thinks..everyone is entitled to their opinion.
you think I lose sleep at night over people who don't like my designer dog, suv or designer sunglasses?

Exactly!! AND IMO, those who haven't GOTTEN JHS can't say that's it's overrated! Especially those with straight hair already!  
I think in that thread some of the replies did not really mean "I think _____ is overrated" more like "I'm sick of hearing about ________"

Well I think we (myself included because I named things on that thread too) are just saying things that are highly popular but that we, as individuals, dont like. Is that really the same as being "overrated"?
How can things like sushi (a food), the beach (a place) or owning a house (the classic American dream) be "overrated"?

One persons trash is another persons treasure. Everyone likes different things. As long as you enjoy them, it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks.
For example, i think lobster is over rated. But that is because I grew up never eating shellfish (dad's deathly allergic) so I never ate lobster. But I understand that people LOVE it. I don't judge. But I never order it because I don't appreciate it enough to spend the money on it.
