I never mind the questions
I only know how many carats it is and that the clarity and color are very good
I always send people to my jewler - and he hooks us up b/c of how many people we have sent there
to me it's a compliment
and for the people that ask to try it on- they can try- but my ring is a size 4.5

I was never asked where he got it.
I was asked "what size is it?"
Answer 3 & 3/4 (my ring size).
I was asked "How much did it costs?"
Answer: It's priceless. or it's not for sale.
I had numerous people ask to try it on - to which I passed it to them because I'm not the least bit superstitious about that.

I've had many people ask to see my ring ... but only in the context where they want to see my hand better/closer (not to actually remove it from my finger to try it on)
No one has asked how much cost was or where it came from.
I wouldn't really have an accurate answer anyway, since the center stone was DH's grandmother's and we had it reset.
The sentimental value to me is much higher than whatever it might have cost.

I got quite a few people that asked where it was from and also a few that asked how much it cost. I thought asking how much it cost was incredibly rude.
